Just 20kms from the Mediterranean the vineyard of 5000 vines basks in sunshine for 300 days of the year.

Syrah, Carignan, Cinsault, Grenache Noir and Muscat Petit Grain vie for attention amongst wild thyme, rosemary, wild rocket, honeysuckle, broom, fennel and all the flowers of the garrigue.

We only make red wine. It is hand made from grapes grown on a very sunny hillside facing south and east. We don’t use pesticides, insecticides or machine harvesting. When we need extra help we use the willing hands of our friends and volunteers. The heavily-sloped land is worked by a 40-year-old St Chamond caterpillar tractor, just 90 centimetres wide.

We vinify using the simplest of methods in a micro-cave based in a 17th century former convent. Our wines are vinified, bottled, Zorked, labelled and boxed by hand. We make tiny quantities each year from a vineyard of just 3 hectares, so we can take time over their production. They are wines made with care, pleasure and respect.
